I have over 10 years working as a driving instructor, driving assessor, teacher, and trainer. I promote professionalism, integrity, patience, and knowledge in the driver training profession. In 2022 I relocated my business to Brisbane from Tasmania and now service selected suburbs around south Brisbane.
Having worked for many years as a driver trainer and teacher, I have honed my skills in developing and tailoring lessons for all of my students, from the nervous first-time driver to the person who is almost ready to sit their final driving test. I am ready to be patient when called for and to push people to excel and become competent and confident drivers when needed. I will work at your skill level and help you achieve your driving goals.
I pride myself on my integrity in being a former P1 driving examiner in Tasmania. I treated everyone equally in the test situation and worked hard to make all assessments fair and reasonable. Beyond anything else, I want to promote competent and safe drivers.
My other skills and qualifications include; I hold a Certificate IV in Driving instruction, A Certificate IV in Training & Assessment, and a Certificate IV in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages). I am also accredited as a Keys2drive driving Instructor and as a driver instructor with the National Disability Insurance Scheme.
Having driven for over 27 years, I understand our vehicular landscape, the trials of hill-starts, and the confusion of one-way streets and the craziness of thunderstorms and other weather patterns. But, with each of these obstacles, I am ready to help guide you through them.
