Onroad - A Voice for the Driving Education Industry!

The past few weeks of lockdown have been really strange and foreign - with the Sydney lockdown completely changing the way that we go about our daily lives. In the same way that you are adapting your lives, Onroad is also working hard to provide as much as we can while still complying with COVID regulations.

Recently, owner Ronak and driving instructor Simon have had their great insights publicised in The Australian newspaper. Ronak and Simon talk about the ways that COVID has affected not only the individual learners ability to obtain their license, but also Onroad's business and educational operations. Simon divulges the different ways that learner drivers are initiated into the driving world - some being taught by their parents for a while before seeking driving lessons and others who are inaugurated through a driving school from the get-go . He implies that this lockdown will be difficult for those learners who are eager to learn with a driving school , especially because of the ever-changing 'end of lockdown' date.

Similarly , Ronak provides a tangible image of lockdown effects on Sydney - stating that there is a 70-80% decrease in the driving business and it will most likely take 9 months or so for Driver testing procedures to resume.

We're so proud to see Onroad as the voice for driving schools in Sydney and as a leader during these difficult times - all of which would not be possible without your continued support and genuine engagement. We want to let you all know that there are great ways to remain committed to your driving journey during lockdown - online courses and helpful content being at the forefront of this ( all of which can be accessed on our website!).
