Terms and conditions for onroad General giveaways
1. ORGANISER AND PROMOTER
1.1. The promoter of this competition is Onroad Driving Education (“the Promoter”), located at Suite 321B / 20 Lexington Drive, Bella Vista NSW 2153, ABN 57134647126.
1.2. By entering any Onroad giveaway, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions, as well as any additional rules stated on the specific giveaway announcement.
2.1. Giveaways are open to Australian residents aged 16 years or older, unless otherwise specified.
2.2. Employees, officers, agents, affiliates, and family members of any persons connected with the organisation or running the giveaway are not eligible to enter or win.
2.3. Proof of identity, age, and residency may be requested. Failure to provide satisfactory proof may result in disqualification.
3.1. Each giveaway will have a clearly specified End Date.
3.2. Entries received outside this period will not be valid.
3.3. The promoter reserves the right to extend, shorten, suspend or cancel the entry period if necessary (e.g. due to errors, fraud, force majeure), in which case all entrants will be notified.
4.1. Entry method(s) will be clearly specified for each giveaway (e.g. follow, tag, comment, share, submit a form, sign-up).
4.2. Automated entries (bots, scripts, repeated use of same identity, or any fraudulent practice) are prohibited and will lead to disqualification.
4.3. The Promoter may reject entries deemed incomplete, invalid, offensive, or inconsistent with the giveaway instructions.
5.1. STANDARD RULE - ONE ENTRY PER PERSON - Unless otherwise stated on the specific giveaway announcement, all giveaways are strictly limited to one (1) entry per person.
5.2. MULTIPLE-ENTRY GIVEAWAYS (WHEN ALLOWED) - If the specific giveaway states “Multiple Entries Allowed,” then:
- A participant may submit as many separate entries as they wish during the entry period;
- Each entry must follow the stated entry method separately (e.g. separate comments, form submissions, separate valid actions). Bulk/mass entries submitted in one batch (e.g. via bots, scripts, multiple names, fraud) will be void and only counted as a single entry or disqualified.
5.3. BONUS ENTRY (ONLY WHEN APPLICABLE) - Some giveaways may offer one (1) BONUS ENTRY opportunity. A bonus entry is not guaranteed and will only apply when specifically stated for that particular giveaway. The bonus entry provides an additional chance to win, but does not replace or remove the standard entry limit.
- Bonus entries are only applicable to giveaways where the standard entry limit is one (1) entry per person.
- A bonus entry may require completing an additional action (e.g. sharing a post, tagging a friend, subscribing, etc.), which will be clearly stated.
- Bonus entries cannot be stacked, repeated, or automated.
- If multiple entries are allowed for a giveaway (as per the specific rules for that giveaway), the bonus entry feature does not apply.
5.1. Unless otherwise specified, there is no purchase or payment required to enter. Any giveaway requiring payment, purchase, or entry fee will be clearly stated.
5.2. If there is an entry fee, such fee must be stated clearly, along with what it covers (e.g. entry processing, administrative costs).
6. Winner Selection & Notification
6.1. Winners will be selected via random draw or as otherwise described in the specific giveaway announcement at the end of the closing day specified on the post.
6.2. Winner(s) will be notified via [email / social media / other contact method] within 5 business days after the end of the entry period.
6.3. Winners must claim their prize within 2 business days of notification. If no response or they fail eligibility verification, the promoter may select an alternate winner.
6.4. Prize(s) must be accepted as offered — no cash or alternative unless explicitly stated.
7.1. Prize descriptions will be clearly provided in the giveaway details. (Unless it is a reveal giveaway such as a jackpot hamper)
7.2. The promoter reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable.
7.3. Prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash, unless required by law.
8. PUBLICITY, DATA & PRIVACY
8.1. By entering, entrants consent to the Promoter using their name and/or entry for reasonable promotional purposes unless they opt out in writing. The winner’s name may be published on the Promoter's website and social media accounts.
8.2. Personal data collected will be used solely for administering the giveaway and prize distribution, in accordance with the promoter’s Privacy Policy.
8.3. The giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by any social-media platform (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, etc.), if applicable — entrants release those platforms from liability.

9. DISQUALIFICATION & FRAUD
9.1. The promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entry or entrant that:
- fails to meet the eligibility requirements;
- Submits false information.
- attempts to circumvent the rules (multiple aliases, fake accounts, bots, fraudulent entries);
- submits incomplete or invalid entries;
- Tampers with the entry process.
- fails to respond to winner notification or meet verification requirements;
- Engages in any illegal or unethical behaviour.
- behaves abusively, dishonestly, or in violation of applicable laws or these Terms.
10. CANCELLATION, AMENDMENT & TECHNICAL ISSUES
10.1. The promoter may cancel, suspend or modify the giveaway (timing, prizes, rules) at any time if required (technical fault, legal reasons, insufficient entries, force majeure).
10.2. In case of cancellation, entrants will be notified and any entry fees refunded (if paid).
10.3. The promoter is not liable for lost, delayed, misdirected or otherwise failed entries, or for any technical or network failures hindering participation.
11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
11.1. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not liable for:
- Any loss or damage arising out of participation,
- Technical failures,
- Delayed or lost entries,
- Misuse of the prize by the winner,
- any technical malfunction, failed transmissions, or other cause beyond the promoter’s reasonable control.
*Nothing in these Terms excludes rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
11.2. Entrants accept the prize at their own risk.
12. GOVERNING LAW & JURISDICTION
12.1. These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
12.2. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in New South Wales, Australia
13.1. By entering the giveaway, participants confirm they have read, understood and accepted these Terms & Conditions, and any additional rules specific to each giveaway as posted.
14. VERSIONING & AMENDMENTS
14.1. The promoter reserves the right to update or amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. The version posted at the time of each giveaway’s start will apply for that giveaway.
