You are able to learn with flexibility because the assessments are online. Our team of expert assessors will be able to guide you through the course and help you along the way.

Practical training

One of our accredited and experienced trainers will be assigned to you and will help you through the Practical Course. The practical training is conducted on road and in-car in a location nearest to your local area. Practical training is available throughout Sydney and Melbourne. Students outside the Sydney areas are required to come to these areas to train and are presented the practical component in block sessions.

The practical training is competency based. It is completely dependent on the amount of knowledge you can gain throughout the course and how willing you are to learn and practice as necessary.

The practical component is made up of 16 hours of one-on-one training plus 5 hours of assessment. If any of the assessments are failed then additional sessions will be required. The more work you put in the fewer hours you will need with your trainer. At the end of your practical training, you will complete a final assessment. This is performed in-car and on-road with one of our specially selected assessors in a specifically chosen location. This will test your readiness for the job and complete your training.
