FAQs

I have a certificate iv in transport and logistics (TLI41221). Can I facilitate module 1?

No, the RMS requirements are that you have completed Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or an Australian degree or diploma in education, or its equivalent certified by an Australian institution if awarded overseas, with teaching experience/employment.

You may be able to demonstrate Recognised Prior Learning and complete the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110) quicker. You should discuss this with the Institution of your choice when investigating

What defines 12 months experience?

Facilitators - RMS requires demonstrated minimum twelve-month experience in facilitation or tertiary teaching experience/ employment. This would be defined as any previous employment where you have regularly over at least 12-month period facilitated a group learner outcome.

Coach - RMS requires demonstrated minimum twelve-month experience as a licensed driving instructor or be a current Safer Drivers Course coach. You must have had an instructors licence for minimum of 12 months and been employed or working as an instructor for a minimum of 12 months.
