Earlier this year Jay Rahman from OnRoad driving, taught me how to drive, or shall I say re-taught me how to drive before going for my red P's. Being a more mature student, who had previously been driving for over 8 years, his work was cut out for him from day 1, as it is certainly not an easy task to teach someone to unlearn and re-learn a skill, as it would be to teach someone who had never learnt the said skill in the first place.
Jay was very kind, patient, and certainly understanding of my individual needs and changed his teaching styles to accommodate my particular style of learning, every lesson where ever he felt that I needed more focus or repetition or simply more experience in the deep end, keeping road safety on the forefront of his mind in every lesson.
I truly believe that no other teacher could have taught me as well as Jay did, as even today, when I go out on the road, I recall his voice in the back of my mind whenever I am facing any difficult situation. Jay took up this challenge of teaching me and travelling quite far for each lesson as well, and not only succeeding but excelling in it. With just over a few months of lessons, I was able to pass in my first go of the test! I thank Jay for being an incredible teacher and would 100% recommend him to others.
