I had two sessions with him, and honestly, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. He was really easy to talk to and super approachable, which made me feel comfortable from the start. I had Kumar Shailendra as my driving instructor for a couple lessons and he was the reason I passed first go at St Marys. I had him for a couple of lessons at the start to learn the basics of driving when I first got my Ls and was really nervous, but he taught everything succinctly and in a patient and easy going manner. Few months later I had him again nearer to my driving test and despite driving consistently for months, he rectified my driving and told me everything I needed to do to pass the test first go which I did. I’d done most of my hours and was doing lessons to prepare for the test, and he was very clear and concise and gave important advice specific to my situation, such as advice on when to check blind spots, how to properly do manoeuvres like 3 point turns, and advice on what to practice after the lessons. I took a few lessons with Shailendra and found Shailendra to be a competent, calm, patient and nice driving instructor. Shailendra was good at helping me perfect my reverse parallel park technique and really was keen for me to pass my test. I didn't unfortunately pass my driving test with Shailendra but I don't blame Shailendra for my fails (I ended up passing my test in the Central coast). I failed one test in North Ryde as I entered a bus lane too soon in order to turn left and I failed another test in Silverwater because the instructor didn't feel I performed sufficient blind spot checks when changing lanes on busy roads. I left my phone one time in Shailendra's car and Shailendra kindly drove to my house to drop it off at no additional cost.

I have booked a 10hr driving lessons last Sept with Onroad Driving School. The booking was smooth and they responded quickly to my queries. I inquired Thursday, arranged a schedule and Saturday, we're already on the road.My instructor, Mr Shailendra Kumar, was very supportive and taught me practical useful informations that i need to know on a right handed driving country since i am used to driving left hand drive. It was a bit of an adjustment for me, lots of new road rules to follow, sometimes i would inappropriately use the wipers as giving signal for turning left/ right as that is the location of it if you are using a left hand car??. He remained calm, patient and reassuring that in no time, i will be able to adapt the new set of rules. He always has answers for my "too technical questions" and make sure i get it right. I am an experienced driver recently moved to Australia. However after clearing the knowledge test with ease, I failed the driving test on my first try. So I contacted onroad driving school and they appointed Shailendra Kumar to me for one hour. In that one hour he gave me an excellent download of all the tips and things to be careful of that the examiner are looking for during the test.
