I am a person with an intellectual disability and mild autism so dealing with different personalities can be difficult for me sometimes, especially in high pressure situations like driving delivers. But Salim was a very delicate and informative driving instructor who took me under his wing for 5 years to perfect and learn my driving skills. I had a car accident during my sixth ever driving lesson with my dad whilst I was only 16. Fast forward five years and Salim consistently took me for driving lessons under the NDIS system where he would take me on an hour long drives to help me improve on my skills. At first, he helped me get past my trauma that I had experienced from my initial accident by giving me careful and clear instructions on how to turn the steering wheel, keeping the car straight to stay in the lane and then eventually how to change lanes and perform a three point turn and eventually parking, all of which Salim instructed in a delicate, very informative, simple yet effective step-by-step way that made it super easy and efficient for me to understand. Salim’s commitment and unwavering support during my 5 years doing lessons with him will never go unnoticed. I am and always will be forever grateful for Salim. If it weren’t for Salim, I don’t think I’ll be half the driver I currently am today. I just got my P’s very recently after 10 years on my L’s and he was a huge part in that. Thank you for your professionalism and your constructive and realistic criticism along the way! You are truly an inspirational and an amazing driving instructor.

I first learnt to drive overseas around 3 years ago, and have since become very rusty. My first lesson with Faride I was so tense and anxious that I even cried a little during our break from stress. However, Faride has been nothing but kind, patient, and understanding. She taught me various rules to know the boundaries of my car in order to park correctly and to keep centred within my lane, tasks I initially had some difficulty with. I also used to particularly struggle with lane changing and merging. I tried to practice these with a teacher in the past to no avail. However, Faride explained the procedure for these so simply to me, and after only a few hours I gained confidence in these skills. If I made a mistake, Faride would calmly tell me where I went wrong and show me how to fix it. During our final lesson, Faride surprised me by taking us over the ANZAC and Harbour Bridges, which I've never been to before, and I got to enjoy my renewed confidence in my driving while seeing the beautiful scenery. I would highly recommend Faride to anyone. She teaches well and with compassion.

My sister recommended Bhavin as she passed her red Ps last year through lessons with him. Today I have passed my Ps test too and can honestly highly recommend Bhavin. He has been very patient, kind, professional and teaches you in a way that makes you feel comfortable and more confident with each lesson. His calm and positive demeanour has made it fun and a pleasure to learn from each week. From my experience, if you make a mistake, there's no yelling. We pull to the side or continue driving while we address, retry and conquer the mistake. He knows how to help reset your mind if you feel stuck in the same situation. My only regret would be not booking with him earlier as he has helped me through struggles with anxiety with previous instructors and experiences and gaining more confidence. I went from 1 hour in the first week to 2 hours to comfortably 3 hour lessons on a weekend and have gotten the most experience out of it. I do suggest 2-3 hour lessons with Bhavin as they are great for learning more faster and easing into being comfortable driving. I will still do lessons with Bhavin in the future for fine tuning and helping me be a safe driver.
