Meet Scot Andrews Senior Driving Instructor | Heavy Vehicle Specialist (UK) | Mentor Driver With more than 14 years of professional driving and training experience across the UK and Australia, Scot Andrews brings an exceptional depth of knowledge, patience, and real-world experience to every driving lesson. Scot began his career in the United Kingdom, spending seven years specialising in heavy passenger vehicles, including buses, coaches, and articulated (bendy) buses. His experience working with large vehicles developed a strong understanding of road safety, vehicle positioning, hazard awareness, and defensive driving—skills that are equally valuable when teaching learner drivers. After relocating to Australia, Scot continued his career as a professional driving instructor, during which he has spent the past seven years helping learner drivers develop the skills, confidence, and judgement they need to become safe and responsible drivers. Scot also brings valuable industry experience from his role as a SkyBus driver, operating passenger services in a professional and demanding environment. This experience provides his students with the advantage of learning from someone who actively works within the professional driving industry and understands the importance of safety, awareness, and responsible decision-making on the road. Adding to his commitment to supporting the next generation of drivers, Scot is also a Mentor Driver with the Casey L2P Program, where he supports learner drivers who may not otherwise have access to a supervising driver.
