The impact that COVID-19 has had on Driving Schools and Learners lessons has been significant. Students and their Instructors have recently been required to postpone their lessons for a number of weeks which in turn has reasonably altered their driving education in order to protect the community. The Roads and Maritime Services have also proactively paused practical driving assessments in NSW until further notice, It is still unclear when the Driver Testing will recommence but certain processes have been put in place for priority testing: please see the attached link for further help with this: https://onroad.com.au/Contact

We at Onroad Driving School have resumed our services as of 01 May 2020; Our driving lessons and Advanced courses are accessible to book online and our friendly customer service team is also available to discuss or manage future bookings with you; as some of our Safer Driver Course venues have previously been conducted in Libraries, Community Centres etc we have made alternate arrangements to change selected venues due to the Government restrictions and for your safety.

It is also essential that we undertake necessary measures to ensure our Driver Trainers and students remain healthy and safe as for example our Instructors vehicles are cleaned thoroughly after every lesson, hand wipes, sanitiser and masks are provided in the Instructors vehicles and are handed out to students accordingly. We also encourage our students to continue basic hygiene practices such as washing hands regularly with soap and water, Covering the mouth when coughing and sneezing, disposing of tissues, using alcohol-based hand sanitiser and If unwell, avoiding contact with others (i.e. touching, being in close proximity to others etc.)

The safety of our Driving community is our main concern and our number one priority; we have also made a conscious effort to continue the education of our Learner drivers, resume our services out on the road and have our students prepared for their future Driving Test.
