Onroad Driving School becomes Silver Sponsor in Falguni Pathak’s Garba Event in Sydney

Raas Garba is an Indian Dance which has originated in state of Gujarat, India. It is also known as “Navratri” where people dance for nine nights on folk music which is known as “Garba”. Falguni Pathak is known as “Garba Queen” and has been singing since 1998.

Falguni Pathak’s raas garba event was held on Saturday, 28th September, 2013 at Whitlam Leisure Center, Liverpool NSW. The whirling dancers, clapping hands, distinct sound of wooden sticks struck together, toe tapping music and people wearing colorful clothes marked the Navratri celebration at the Garba & Dandiya Raas.

Onroad Driving School was One of the Silver sponsor in this event. Onroad Driving School has been sponsoring Garba events year after year in Sydney. At the end of the event, winners of the garba competition and best dressed male and female were declared. Sponsors and musicians were also honored with presentation of Plaques.
