Our Local Council Parent Workshop is a valuable opportunity for parents and guardians to gain essential knowledge, skills, and resources to effectively support their teenage drivers throughout the learning process. Whether you are a seasoned driver or new to the role of guiding a learner driver, this workshop is tailored to provide you with the tools and confidence necessary to navigate this important milestone.
This course differs from the Supervising a Learner Course in that it has a community focus. It is an intensive workshop done as a group to foster support and relationships between parents, supervisors and trainers. It provides guidance for parents and guardians in order to best support their teen throughout the learning-to-drive journey. Those who attend this workshop may not necessarily be the one supervising the learner, but are at home offering support and guidance.
