Jammal was great, very patient and relaxed in helping me learn to drive using handcontrols. He was also great in teaching me new road rules which weren't in place when I first got my licence more than 20yrs ago - I definitely wouldn't have passed first go without his help. If you need to drive using handcontrols I would highly recommend taking lessons with Jammal.

Jamal sir is very patient and helpful. He helped me a lot to overcome the fear of driving which I had stopped for the last 15 years due to an accident. But he was very understanding and helped me see through the tough part with more practicality and useful tips. He was always punctual and he made the whole lesson a lot more easier by giving a very warm feeling during the classes through his friendly nature. Learning to drive with him is less of a chore and more of an entertainment when he shares really enjoyable life experiences with you. He is one of the best teachers to learn driving from.

My instructor Jamal Ghazi was absolutely wonderful. I passed my driving test on the first go and didn't do any other practice beyond my lessons with him. I felt confident and ready for the test when I took it.

Jamal is a patient, kind, knowledgable encouraging teacher who was able to be very specific with me about what I needed to do in order to drive safely, confidently, and ultimately, pass my test.

Jamal is also a lovely person, easy to talk to, and fully respected all COVID-19 safety/hygiene measures, which became important for both us when doing 2-hour lessons each week during a pandemic. I can not recommend Jamal enough as a driving instructor and am so grateful for all that he taught me.

I've had 30 odd hrs lessons with Jamal Ghazi.
His car is clean, tidy ,safe and very well maintained.
He is a very gentle, kind, patient ,friendly , experienced instructor.
Over the course of those 30 odd hrs we talked a lot too and I now consider him a friend. I never thought I'd say that about a driving instructor .
I'm 41 yrs old, had never driven before , have no access to a car to practice, but Jamal was able to get me ready in such very limited time , considering my circumstances. He was able to help me pass and get my p's.
I'm now going to continue to get lessons/practice with Jamal whenever I can, until i get a car and can practice on my own.
I couldn't recommend Jamal highly enough.

I cannot speak highly enough of Jamal, he is an incredible teacher and a wonderful human being! I came to Jamal with a few lessons under my belt from years ago, but i'd since lost confidence and was honestly terrified of being behind the wheel again in the big city. I turned up to my first lesson a bag of nerves but his gentle, positive and charismatic nature relaxed me straight away. Within a few lessons I felt like the whole thing had 'clicked' again, and we proceeded with a suite of 7 two hour lessons leading up to my test. Every lesson was a delight, I learned a lot, and laughed a lot! Like all great driving instructors he never reacted to mistakes, but treated them as the lessons they are in a light hearted and reassuring way. Jamal has a special way of teaching that is truly authentic and from the heart, it's personalised and genuine, not robotic and jaded in any way. The reality is that he cares about his students, wants to get to know people, and this made the learning process so much smoother and more effective. I ultimately passed my test on the first attempt with a near perfect score, what a result! Thank-you so much Jamal, i'll miss our chats :) :)

I had Jamal as my driving instructor and he was such a dream to drive with! He is so easy going with your lessons and super chill so any nervousness you may feel just melts away. I passed on my first go with Jamal and I recommend to book with him if you are a nervous driver like me! Jamal is also really generous with his time and will try to accommodate you as best as he can- e.g pick up/ drop offs, time, etc.

From the very beginning, Jamal made me feel completely at ease. He is very positive and focuses on what you are doing well while also making you aware of what needs to be improved. He is very practical in his instructions, clearly explaining difficult maneuvers step by step. He is also very knowledgeable of the process, and when I booked my driving test in Marrickville he took me to all the key spots. When I finally took my test, I was very familiar with every street that I was asked to go on and passed with ease.

Jamal was a great instructor. He was very patient and calm while driving even when I made mistakes. He was able to pick me up from uni or home to do my lessons and fit it into my schedule which was great, considering that I was at uni most days. He took me to various locations so that I would be able to drive and feel comfortable in any driving situation. Jamal, is the best. There are no words to describe how amazing and professional driving instructor he is. If you are struggling or need a very efficient, friendly, knowledgeable, professional driving instructor that's Jamal. I was really scared of driving after moving from Spain to Australia and I was really scared of driving here. I spent a year not being able to touch a steering wheel until I met Jamal. He helped me to overcome my fear of driving and to become a very confident driver, and to learn how to drive for the first time! He is great and explains everything is a very clear way, he always knows what o say to make feel more comfortable and to make the most of his lessons. He is great at making people feel comfortable and happy.

Took my driving lessons from Jamal and I am so happy to share my feedback here today..I moved from overseas last year and had to convert my original license to full Australian license. So sought an instructor who could help me understand the nuances of driving in Australia and yet be kind enough to have patience when things were not 100 percent, while learning new rules and regulations. Loved learning from Jamal from day one, he has this easy and kind way to explain everything and later let's you understand the technicalities yourself while gently nudging and pointing towards the right course and ofcourse learning from your follies..very grateful to have found his time after seeing so many positive reviews online...totally understand why people have written what they have...he deserves every bit of praise coming his way...would be recommending him to everyone from family and friends who want to learn and practice for full license. I would like thank really skillful and adept instructors at Onroad driving school. Jamal Ghazi is an ace instructor and helps build the confidence in driving and to understand the rules of safe driving. I took 6 lessons before appearing for my test.

Jamal is very patient and explains the importance of practicing safe driving techniques. I also undertook a lesson with Mr. Bhupesh Shrestha from onroad driving and he is equally good instructor.

Jamal sir is an excellent driving instructor. His calm and encouraging personality helped me gain confidence in my driving. He taught me the basics really well and once I started driving properly he worked with me on rules and regulations.

Jamal is an excellent instructor. So honest and gives great constructive feedback. After bad experience with a different instructor, I'm sure you can imagine my confidence was knocked back a little, but thanks to Jamal that was quickly fixed :)
He was always on time (actually earlier normally). He never let me down with the lesson. He has exceptional customer service skills.
Jamal was very good at explaining how I could improve and ensured I was able to apply the tips he was giving me to become a better driver. I was very comfortable and felt like Jamal genuinely care about me being my best at driving, but also about the confidence side of things, which is hard to find these days.
I can't recommend Jamal enough! Very professional and caring, he is simply amazing at what he does!
Every lesson I learned something new, and my confidence grew. I booked my test, and the day before I wasn’t overly nervous because I knew Jamal had provided me with the knowledge and skills I needed to pass and I passed it on the first go!

Jamal Ghazi was an excellent, knowledgeable and patient driving instructor. Thanks to his great teaching, I passed my test on the first try. He showed me exactly what to expect during my test and helped me to practice the skills I would need.

Jamal taught me reliable techniques for procedures such as reverse parallel parking; this made reverse parallel parking easy and stress-free :)

He also taught me how to drive safely and respond carefully to road signs or hazards. Jamal took the time to make sure I understood why different safety measures were important; this helped me make a habit of always putting safe driving techniques into action (and this in turn helped me to pass my test).

Lesson after lesson, Jamal remembered my strengths and areas where I felt less confident (such as changing lanes). He helped me to especially practice the skills I found more difficult. As such, the time in our lessons was always well spent and I was able to improve quickly.

In addition, Jamal helped me to practice driving in various different conditions, so that I would feel comfortable driving to work after passing my test.

Finally, Jamal kept his car in perfect condition. He was always very punctual, flexible and supportive. Thank you Jamal for your wonderful teaching :)

Finally passed my test today with the help of these guys! I had a few lessons with several different instructors: Jamal, Sam and Anthony. All are very knowledgeable and know the exact routes the testing officers take us on, no matter which suburb you're taking the test in. They are aware of every road rule that people get tested on, and every fail item and how it can be avoided. They know how to boost your confidence for the test, and are very thorough with what they teach. Excellent work! Highly recommended!
